"I have known and done business with [Vortechs] for the past 8 years. I recently retired from the Vancouver Police Department, holding the rank of Inspector. While with the VPD I was the Officer in charge of all facilities and facility upgrades. During that period [Vortechs] was contracted to install a number of security upgrades to the 312 Main St facility, including:

• Narcotics Room alarm system
• Crime Lab alarm system
• CCTV and emergency nurse call system for the City Jail

On a more personal note, I had Mr. Kuijper install an alarm system in my summer home. As Chair of the Strata Council in my apartment complex, I had Mr. Kuijper install a full access control system in our 24 floor, 148- suite building, including monitored security alarm system for the office and equipment room.

He is currently consulting with the Council on further upgrades to the system.

In all my dealings with him, I have found Mr. Kuijper to be very knowledgeable, thorough and competent. He has offered advice on security, access control, video and emergency monitoring systems that has proven to be of great benefit.
