Vortechs Office in CoquitlamIn 1993 Vortechs Electronics Design LTD was conceived by 21 year old Mitchel Kuijper, during the time he was attending technical college in Victoria, B.C.  Having sold and installed audio/video equipment in his adolescent years, this next endeavour was something quite different.  Initially, Vortechs Electronics Design started as a design firm, specializing in small scale prototyping of electronic circuits to private market.  In 1995, the company was moved to Vancouver’s lower mainland to explore a larger technology market. After several successful projects in 2000, Mitchel chose to take the company in a new direction and build a team of dedicated individuals with common interests around the System Integration Business.

"Our customers value highly the reliability and speed of our service and the personal attention we give each and every one of our clients."

This new direction towards residential and commercial low-voltage systems was to encompass the consultation, system design and installation services for our clients.  The development of a fresh web site, purchase of multiple service vehicles, years of dedication to quality and the drive to surpass the competition, are just some of the reasons why Vortechs is still around today.  In 2006, we purchased a building in Coquitlam, directly across from The Home Depot, with vast plans to expand our service and customer base in the coming years.  In 2008, Vortechs opened their automation and audio/video showroom, which allows the staff to fully demonstrate the capabilities of the products in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
